1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GradConnect ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. GradConnect is operated exclusively for the MVJCE (Maharaja Venkateshwara College of Engineering) community.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is available only to current students, alumni, and verified faculty of MVJCE. Registration requires a valid @mvjce.edu.in email address and admin approval. You must be at least 16 years of age to use GradConnect.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials used to sign in.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile (name, branch, year, graduation year, etc.).
  • You must not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
  • You must immediately notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GradConnect only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Send spam, chain letters, or unsolicited promotional messages.
  • Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users.
  • Post content that is offensive, discriminatory, or violates any law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or the Platform's systems.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform.
  • Use the Platform for any commercial or fraudulent purpose.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on GradConnect (profile information, messages, posts, etc.). By using the Platform, you grant GradConnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and moderate your content as necessary to operate the Platform.

6. Connections & Messaging

Connection requests and chat features are provided to facilitate networking within the MVJCE community. You may block or discontinue conversations with any user at any time. GradConnect reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove messages that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and proprietary content associated with GradConnect are owned by the GradConnect team. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of violation of these Terms, reports of misconduct, or if your account is found to contain fraudulent information. You may also request account deletion by contacting the administrators.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

GradConnect is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GradConnect and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
